NTN Kinan Corporation Builds 2nd Plant
NTN Corporation (hereafter NTN) will add production capacity at NTN Kinan CORPORATION to expand its automotive axle bearing business.
1.Purpose of the new plant
The demand for automobile parts has rapidly been increasing due to solid business conditions in the automotive industry centering on the BRICs countries. The axle bearing for automobiles, which is a strategic product for NTN, is currently in short supply in the brisk market.
NTN will increase the pre-process and production capacity by building a second plant at NTN KINAN CORPORATION, which uses the best forging and grinding technology among the NTN affiliates.
The new plant starts operations in February 2008 with about 10 employees and will expand its capacity as the demand increases.
